Warranty & Returns


Our pedals carry a Limited Lifetime Warranty (for as long as we are in business) within the USA for ANY problem related to the function or operation of that pedal due to faulty parts and/or other internal problem. JHS Pedals and goods sold Internationally outside of the USA carry a 1 year Limited Warranty.  We do not cover things such as broken knobs, pots and jacks due to abuse.  We build them to last but not to be thrown out of an airplane. However, we will repair problems that are out from under our warranty like the above at a very reasonable price.  Several of our pedals have internal trim pots which are set and sealed very carefully for the function of the circuit and it should be noted that tampering with the trim pots will void the warranty.


Regarding JHS Mods, ….aftermarket changes to a guitar pedal typically void original manufacturer’s warranty in almost all circumstances.  By purchasing a new JHS Mod and/or sending in your new/used pedal for a JHS Mod, you are acknowledging that you are most likely voiding the original manufacturer’s warranty of the non-JHS Pedal.  As a manufacturer, we can only offer a warranty on the parts and changes included within the JHS Mod.  We cannot and will not be able to offer warranty coverage to a non-JHS Pedal or part of a non-JHS pedal that we did not design, manufacture, or alter during the Modding process. 


All items purchased from authorized JHS Dealers are subject to the Dealer’s terms and conditions for Returns.  Items purchased from authorized JHS Dealers cannot and should not be returned directly to JHS Pedals.

Any item(s) purchased directly from JHSpedals.com can be returned for refund under the circumstances that you return the item with original packaging, in perfect mechanical, functional, and cosmetic condition and within 48 hours of receiving the item(s).  Upon receiving the returned item, JHS Pedals staff will inspect and test the item to verify it is in “new” condition, and in perfect working order.  Upon the item(s) passing inspection, we will issue a refund or contact you with any questions/concerns.

JHS Pedals retains the right to charge a re-stocking fee on Returned Items that were shipped back to us within 48 hours of receiving the item(s) BUT that were found to be in less than new condition either functionally, mechanically, or cosmetically.  Any item(s) received and kept for more than 48 hours are automatically deemed non-refundable and will not be accepted for return even if found to be in “new” condition and perfect working order.


Hey, no one is 100% perfect. Therefore we are happy to repair JHS Pedals and JHS Mods when something seems to be going wrong. Most repairs end up being fairly simple fixes, and our techs are more than capable of helping get JHS pedals back in working condition!
